What is Crypto Wallet?
क्रिप्टो वॉलेटA crypto wallet is software or hardware that stores your private keys and lets you send, receive, and manage cryptocurrencies. It does not actually store coins. Those exist on the blockchain.
Full Explanation
A cryptocurrency wallet is a tool (software or hardware) that manages your cryptographic keys: the private key (secret, used to sign transactions) and public key (shared, used as your address). Wallets come in two categories: hot wallets (connected to internet: MetaMask, Trust Wallet) and cold wallets (offline: Ledger, Trezor). The wallet itself doesn't hold coins; it holds the keys that prove ownership of coins recorded on the blockchain.
Example
MetaMask is a popular hot wallet for Ethereum. For long-term storage of large amounts, a Ledger Nano hardware wallet is recommended for security.
