What is Public Key / Address?
A public key (or wallet address) is your crypto "account number". Share it to receive funds. Unlike a private key, it's safe to share publicly.
Full Explanation
A public key is a cryptographic code derived from your private key that serves as your address on the blockchain. It's safe to share, since others need it to send you crypto. In practice, a wallet address (a hashed version of the public key) is what you share. Example format: Bitcoin address starts with "1", "3", or "bc1"; Ethereum addresses start with "0x". Each blockchain has its own address format. Always double-check addresses before sending: crypto transactions are irreversible.
