What is ATH (All-Time High)?
ATH is the highest price a cryptocurrency has ever reached in its entire history. Bitcoin's ATH changes with each bull cycle.
Full Explanation
All-Time High (ATH) is the highest price point an asset has ever reached. In crypto, new ATHs generate excitement, media coverage, and often FOMO buying. Conversely, when prices are far below ATH, it creates a metric for measuring "drawdown" (how far below the peak). Each major bull cycle tends to set a new ATH for Bitcoin and major altcoins. ATL (All-Time Low) is the opposite — the lowest price ever recorded.
