Full Explanation
A cryptocurrency whitepaper is a technical and business document that describes a project's purpose, technology, consensus mechanism, tokenomics, team, and roadmap. Satoshi Nakamoto's 2008 Bitcoin whitepaper ("Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System") is the most famous. Good whitepapers are clear, technically sound, and honest about limitations. Red flags: plagiarized content, buzzword-heavy without substance, unrealistic promises, no technical details. Always read the whitepaper before investing (DYOR).
