Technical analysis (TA) is a trading methodology that analyzes historical price and volume data to forecast future market behavior. Core principles: 1) Price reflects all information. 2) Prices move in trends. 3) History tends to repeat. Tools include: candlestick patterns, support/resistance levels, trendlines, moving averages (EMA/SMA), oscillators (RSI, MACD), volume analysis, and Fibonacci retracements.
