What is Flash Loan?
A flash loan lets you borrow millions in crypto with zero collateral — but you must repay it in the same transaction block. Used for arbitrage and exploits.
Full Explanation
Flash loans are uncollateralized loans that must be borrowed and repaid within a single blockchain transaction. If the borrower can't repay, the entire transaction reverts as if it never happened — so there's no risk to the lender. Flash loans enable arbitrage (exploit price differences across DEXs), liquidations, collateral swaps, and unfortunately, attacks on DeFi protocols. Aave was the first to offer flash loans.
