What is Circulating Supply?
Circulating supply is the number of coins currently in public circulation and available for trading. It's used with price to calculate market cap.
Full Explanation
Circulating supply is the total number of cryptocurrency coins or tokens that are publicly available and tradeable in the market. It differs from: Total Supply (all coins that exist, including locked/reserved ones) and Max Supply (absolute maximum that will ever exist — e.g., 21 million for Bitcoin). Market Cap = Price × Circulating Supply. A low circulating supply relative to total supply means potential dilution risk (more tokens will enter circulation). Check tokenomics before investing.
