What is Satoshi (sat)?
A satoshi (sat) is the smallest unit of Bitcoin — 0.00000001 BTC (one hundred millionth). Named after Bitcoin's creator Satoshi Nakamoto.
Full Explanation
A satoshi (sat) is the smallest denomination of Bitcoin, equal to 0.00000001 BTC. Named after Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto. Since a single Bitcoin costs lakhs of rupees, satoshis make small transactions practical. 1 BTC = 100,000,000 sats. "Stacking sats" is crypto slang for accumulating small amounts of Bitcoin over time. The term also reflects Bitcoin's divisibility — you don't need to buy a whole Bitcoin to invest.
Example
With ₹100, you can buy approximately 15-20 satoshis of Bitcoin. Over time, "stacking sats" adds up through DCA/SIP.
